Pre-Treatment Instructions: How to prepare for your Stem Cell Treatment?

To ensure your MSC stem cell therapy is effective and goes smoothly, please follow these pre-treatment instructions:

1. Consultation and Planning

Discuss with Your Doctor: Your doctor will create a personalized treatment plan and discuss the costs during your consultation.

2. Health and Lifestyle Adjustments

Avoid Smoking and Alcohol: Refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol for at least one week before your treatment.
Limit Strenuous Exercise: Avoid intense physical activities during this week.
Notify the Clinic if Ill: Contact the clinic immediately if you develop cold or flu symptoms.
Get Adequate Rest: Ensure you get more than 7 hours of sleep the night before your treatment.
Dietary Restrictions:
o Day Before Treatment: Avoid oily foods, high-sugar items, and soft drinks.
o On Treatment Day: Do not consume stimulants like coffee, energy drinks, alcohol, or supplements such as cordyceps.

3. Medication and Payment

Advance Payment: Payment is required in advance due to the limited lifespan of MSCs and preparations of fresh stems cells on day of treatment.
Medication Disclosure: Inform the clinic if you are taking blood-thinning medications like aspirin or Warfarin.

4. Blood Test Guidelines

Avoid Eating or Drinking: Do not eat or drink if you are scheduled for a blood test on the day of your treatment, as this can affect the results.

5. Contraindications for Stem Cell Therapy

Active Infections: Stem cell therapy is not suitable if you have current infections, including severe soft tissue infections, active diarrhea, or uncontrollable viral infections like hepatitis.
Cancer: Stem cell therapy is not intended to treat cancer. However, it may be an option once you are declared cancer-free, to support recovery.
Pregnancy and Postpartum: Treatment can begin 6 months after giving birth.
Uncontrolled Autoimmune Conditions: Active autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or irritable bowel syndrome, should be under control before considering stem cell therapy.
