The afternoon sessions explored some of the most advanced areas in biomedical research:
- Jungjoon Kempthorne Lee discussed the application of extra-seq technology to identify off-target effects in CRISPR-edited human stem cells, a crucial process for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of gene-editing therapies.
- Sun Hongyan from GemPharmaTech provided insights into CAR-T cell therapy, emphasizing non-clinical testing methods designed to meet challenges in treating complex diseases such as cancer.
- Jennifer Dodgson of Kipley AI in Singapore presented a forward-thinking talk on the role of artificial intelligence in regenerative medicine, explaining how AI can speed up research, tailor stem cell therapies to individual patients, and support better clinical decision-making.

The conference also highlighted Thailand’s status as a premier destination for medical tourism, especially in the field of stem cell therapy. Dr. Gary Lim, an expert in naturopathic medicine, led a session that focused on the country’s advanced clinical facilities, cost advantages, and its growing reputation for safety and innovation in regenerative healthcare.
