STEM CELL BANKING & REGULATIONS
Stem cell banking involves the collection and storage of stem cells for potential future use. There are several different types of stem cell banks, including cord blood banks, which store stem cells from umbilical cord blood, and adult stem cell banks, which store stem cells from various tissues throughout the body
Stem cell research and therapy are highly regulated in many countries. In Thailand, the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates stem cell therapies as biological products. The FDA has established guidelines for the use of stem cells in medical treatments. In addition, Thailand has established ethical guidelines for stem cell research and therapy, and researchers must adhere to these guidelines in order to conduct their research.
